Rockne Ragsdale, Jr. has been the Minister of Music and Children at Reidland Baptist Church since January 1995. He began his music ministry career in 1976 after having served as his home church’s pianist/organist for six years. He graduated from Century High School in Ullin, Illinois in 1975, Shawnee Community College in 1977; received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1980, and a Masters of Religious Education Degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1982.   He was ordained into the ministry in July, 1980. He has been the tenor for the Victory Men Quartet since their beginning in 1995. Rockne and his wife, Dianne, were married in 1977 and have two adult children, Somer and Ross.
